  • Color Grading: You will assess the diamond’s color using a standardized grading scale. This involves comparing the diamond to a set of master stones of known color grades to determine its position on the scale.
  • Clarity Grading: You will evaluate the diamond’s clarity, which refers to the presence of internal or external imperfections (inclusions and blemishes). Using magnification, you will identify and classify these characteristics according to a standardized grading system.
  • Carat Weight Measurement: You will accurately measure the diamond’s carat weight, which represents its size or mass. This measurement is crucial for determining the diamond’s value and is done using precision scales.
