To date, IIRS has conducted a remarkable 101 programs through live and interactive classrooms, also known as the EDUSAT program. Whether you’re looking for short-duration customized courses, Postgraduate Diplomas, or Master’s Degrees (M.Tech and M.Sc.) in various disciplines, IIRS has something to offer. Their outreach activities extend to distance-learning programs, ensuring that knowledge knows no boundaries.
One of the most exciting opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students is the upcoming program on Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) Applications. This course, scheduled from November 6, 2023, to November 17, 2023, covers a wide array of applications in the field. These include Agriculture and Soil, Forestry and Ecology, Geoscience and Geo-hazards, Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, Urban and Regional Studies, and Water Resources.
The registration for this program opens on October 16, 2023, and closes on November 3, 2023. There are 10,000 seats available for the comprehensive course and an additional 5,000 seats for individual modules, making it accessible to a large number of interested learners.
The beauty of this program lies in its accessibility. Participants can join the program live through the E-CLASS platform of IIRS-ISRO or by using the IIRS YouTube channel with an internet connection. The best part is that there are no specific hardware or software requirements, making it hassle-free for anyone with an internet-enabled device.
